Meet THESE incredible young people!

On this page we’d like to introduce you to some of the girls currently living in Stella’s House and the boys at Simon’s House. Check back often as we’ll be featuring different kids here every month or so. To help these kids, donate here!

Meet Valeria

Valeria came to Stella’s House at the start of the school year in 2019. We heard of Valeria’s situation and drove hours into the Moldovan countryside to find their little village. Without giving too many personal details, it was clear that Valeria and her family definitely needed help. Thanks to faithful Stella’s Voice donors like you, Valeria was able to come to Stella’s House and work on completing her education and getting a start in life that just wouldn’t have been possible otherwise. Then, this summer, Valeria was joined by her younger sister, Gabriela, so both sisters will, with your help, get an awesome start on building a great future.

Valeria loves to attend church and worship God. She has many dreams in life, and she loves to sew and write poetry. Valeria recently recorded one of her poems on video; it’s called, “Ai vrea sa faci un lucru bun,” which means “You want to do a good deed.” Although the poem is written in Romanian (we’ve added subtitles), you’ll definitely be able to enjoy her lovely rendition and heartfelt words.

Meet Andrei

Andrei grew up in the orphanage in Cupcui in the Leova region of Moldova. Over many years, Stella’s Voice donors have heard us talk about this orphanage, and they have given and prayed and made the lives of the children immeasurably better. Many of the kids in this orphanage have come to Stella’s House or Simon’s House over the years, but the orphanage director and even the local officials all made a point of requesting that we help Andrei. We were of course thrilled to do exactly that and Andrei has been at Simon’s house since 2019.

Andrei is studying to be a PE teacher. He’s also one of the best soccer players you’ll ever meet. Andrei was placed in the orphanage because his family had fallen on hard times and there were issues that Andrei, as a child, could do nothing about. Now, however, as he grows into a compassionate and capable young man, he’s doing all he can to help his family back in his home town. Please remember to pray for Andrei and his family.
